Scene description

Yennefer is traveling in a carriage, escorting Queen Kalis of Lyria and her baby. Suddenly, they are ambushed by an assassin and his arachnid monster, sent by the king himself to get rid of them. To escape, Yennefer opens a series of magical portals, leaping from one biome to another in a frantic chase that culminates at the imposing summit of Roque Nublo. There, cornered and fed up with the queen’s attitude, Yennefer opens a portal and flees alone, leaving the assassin to kill the queen. However, filled with remorse, she immediately returns to save the baby, but she is too late: the assassin manages to mortally wound the girl with a dagger before Yennefer can finally escape with her.
